Atmora Size Guide
Use this guide to compare Atmora garment measurements with a shirt you already own and like. The chart below uses shirt measurements — not body measurements — so the easiest method is to measure a well-fitting shirt laid flat.
The numbers in this guide describe the shirt itself, not your body measurement.
Measure a shirt you already like and compare those measurements with the Atmora chart.
If you fall between two sizes, consider the larger size when you want an easier fit.
If a product page shows its own size or fit guidance, use that product-specific information first.
01 — Size Chart
All measurements are in inches and refer to the garment. Minor production variation may occur. For the best comparison, use a similar shirt laid flat.
| Size | Chest | Shoulder | Length | Full Sleeve | Half Sleeve |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| S | 38" | 16" | 27.5" | 24.5" | 7.5" |
| M | 40" | 17" | 28" | 25" | 8" |
| L | 42" | 18" | 29" | 25" | 8" |
| XL | 44" | 19" | 30" | 25.5" | 8.5" |
| XXL | 46" | 20" | 31" | 25.5" | 9" |
02 — How to Measure
The easiest way to choose an Atmora size is to compare the chart with a shirt that already fits the way you like. Button it, lay it flat on a smooth surface, and measure without pulling or stretching the fabric.
Measure across the shirt around the chest area while it is laid flat. Use the garment measurement convention shown in the chart.
Measure straight across the back from one shoulder seam to the other.
Measure from the highest shoulder point down to the bottom hem of the shirt.
For a full sleeve, measure from the shoulder seam to the cuff. For a half sleeve, measure from shoulder seam to sleeve end.
03 — Fit Guidance
Two people with similar body measurements may still prefer different sizes. Your ideal choice depends on shoulder comfort, chest room, styling preference, and how you plan to wear the shirt.
Choose the size that most closely matches the measurements of a shirt you already wear with a neat, closer silhouette.
If you like extra movement through the chest or midsection, compare with a roomier shirt and consider the larger size.
If your comparison falls between sizes, sizing up is usually the safer direction when comfort and extra room matter more.
Some fabrics, patterns, cuts, or product constructions may have their own specific size note. Follow that information first.
04 — Best Sizing Method
This simple comparison method is more reliable than choosing a size only from habit, especially when different brands use different sizing conventions.
Choose a shirt with a similar style and fit to what you expect from Atmora. Avoid comparing with oversized, stretch-heavy, or unusually slim pieces unless that is the fit you actually want.
Button the shirt, smooth it naturally, and measure chest, shoulder, length, and sleeve without pulling the fabric.
Compare your measurements with the chart. If two sizes are close, use your preferred fit and the product-specific note to decide.
05 — Important Size Notes
The general size chart is a strong starting point, but a product’s own fit information and your personal fit preference should always be part of the final decision.
If an Atmora product page includes a different size note, fit note, or measurement table, use that information for that product because fabric and construction can affect how a shirt wears.
A “M” or “L” can differ from one brand to another. Comparing actual garment measurements is more useful than assuming your usual size will always match exactly.
